Meanwhile back at the Ranch, part 3. (3/8/09)

I got back from Camelback at about 10:45 p.m.    This was my second weekend there and….there might be another one next week.    I have friends that are going already soooo I might also go.

Larry King was very gracious, posing for pictures and signing autographs!

The famous Troy from West Virginia!  He is the reason why Joe Beimel got a bobblehead.   He got plenty of Youtube videos showing his total support for Jjoe.

We found the minor league area where we watched our Baby Blue practicing!!  The kid standing up smiling is Preston Mattingly.  We saw Johnson pitching well.   Dodgers could have used him today.

    Julia,
Troy is funny. He was parading behind home plate with that sign when our pitching was falling apart chanting “Bring Beimel back!” and he had all Dodger fans chanting it. He kept pointing his sign to the suites where Dodger personnel was at.

Jan, Did you see the message Jay left you here?

Tom, yeah Larry was very patient signing autographs, and posing for pictures and talking to the fans. His kid threw out the first pitch and served as honorary bat boy.

    Cali,
Yes, I am a hard Dodger fan!. You know, I’ve met some ….(hard to say) nice Giant fans (almost choked on that :-). But really, I’ve met some nice and some not so nice. I had a lot of fun at the All-Star game there even with all the abuse my friend and I got.

    Hey Aaron,
I did not finish uploading my pics. Maybe I’ll add more. I did take some of the White Sox as a favor to another blogger here. He is so far away from his Medias Blancas (White Sox). Love your reports of the WBC.

LOL Jeff! Larry sure does totally different without his makeup guru.

Thanks Jane! BTW, I have a party for 11 year old niece today but tomorrow I probably go to the LA Times Book Festival.
