Notice my Dodger pins.  One says “Fanatico por vida”.  Fan for Life, and the other one is for Vin Scully.

Dodgers come from behind to beat the Rockies and celebrate with fireworks! to the tune of 70’s music and of course “I  LOVE LA”.  at the end.

Bad News:  Doug Mientkiwicz is going to have to have surgery on his shoulder on Monday and is going to be out for a while.  He was doing so well.  Good Luck Doguie!

Blake DeWitt will join the big league club tonight.  DeWitt, like last year spent a few days in the minor league only to be brought back again.

Tomorrow is Dodgers, Dodgers, Dodgers with photo day, game and Dodger movie premiere.

Thanks Julia! Yeah that is too bad about Dougie. He looked in such pain when it happened.
I am going out for breakfast before heading to the stadium for photo day, then watch game then back home to get ready for movie premiere.

Thanks Jane! I have been so busy. Is going to take a while for Doug to come back. They show him on the 15-day DL but he will be moved to the 60-DL. Such a tough break for him. He was doing so well coming off the bench and like Julia and you said, he is such a nice guy.

That outfit reminded me why I was glad to only have a half a decade of the 70’s in school.
Great outfit, and the hair was wild and free. Sounds like you had a groovy night and all was well in dodger-land.

Amy, Even if my beloved Dodgers lost all 4 games in St Louis that year that I was there, I had a great time there with Sandi and you. Wish we all knew Jan back then. I really hope that Sandi will join us in Chicago like she said she might.
Rays, yes! I had a groovy night! Can you imagine we scored 50 runs in the homestand?
After hearing many 70’s songs on Friday night, I have a few stuck in my mind. one is George McGrae “Rock your baby”. American Woman, knock three times on the cealing if you love me, Lean on me when you are not strong, baby don’t get hooked on me, you are so vain, love will keep us together, I want to kiss you all over…ok, I better stop 🙂
