The Power of a Blog

Without having a blog like we from all parts of the country can share our passion for our beloved Dodgers, this story would not have taken place.   Please take a moment to read this touching story well written by Rhett Bollinger /MLB.

The tour was wonderful and meeting everyone was even more wonderful. I was telling my husband your passion for the Dodgers and how you are there for all the Dodgers events. And yes thanks to everyone that made this dream for us and specially for JOE PIERRE come true. I wish I could of stayed for the game. But was not able to. Hopefully soon we can have another ITD game day and **** chat like in the blog. My kids had a great time and love the gifts Josh had for all of the Children that attended the tour. And of course I was soooo happy in being the 1st Martinista to raise my hand….love my ball. GOOOO MARTIN! I am glad I met you.

I am so happy that you got Russell’s signed baseball and that your kids also got giveways! Hey! your post came out with **** what? since the word chat is right after then that word “****” did not come out. Let’s see if it shows here.
It would be hard to top it and they are talking about it being an annual get together.
Julia, Yes, it was a wonderful experience to meet so many people that post there and that Joe Pierre put his fears away and went for it.

I am amazed that the word c h i t is blocked. I guess MLB can’t spell all the dirty words. 🙂 Is caca allowed?

Strange the words that MLBlogs’ filter decides are “bad”. Nonetheless, it sounds like you all had a wonderful time! Joe seemed truly at a loss for words at points during the video – how great is it that the Dodgers flew him from NY for the event! And I think I spotted you in the video too (Cat also).

i guess caca is allowed 🙂
We had a wonderful time from the tour at 11:30 AM till the end of the game. And yes I was at the beginning of the video and Cat is there too. He was the man of the day so everyone wanted to be around him. The night before it was only he and I watching the game, keeping score and him telling me about his day. We heard from him and he said he still can’t believe everything that happened.

    Thanks for the comment!!

Hah, i love your About Me! I also have to check my Tigers Schedule before i commit to anything with my friends! I also, so badly, want to visit every ballpark!

    Hey Shan,
I still have not made it to Detroit. I was so close one time. One of these years i got to take one of those ballpark tours that take you to a few stadiums. I usually do it on my own.

Hey Emma, I was hoping to get out to this Saturday’s game against the Dodgers, but I couldn’t get a hold of any tickets!! Oh well, I’ll just have to listen to the game on the radio instead. It’s going to be a huge weekend, with big crowds, great baseball, and the Manny. Maybe we’ll even BEAT LA!! haha. May the better team win!! GO PADRES!!

I hear from friends that have been to Comerica Park that is beautiful just like my beloved Dodger Stadium. I have only been to 12 parks so I got a lot to still see.
I am not going to be there Saturday ethier oops (I do that sometimes where I type t Ethier’s name) , I mean either. I will be there Friday night though and will come back on Sunday.
