Dodgers are playing 20 games without a day off

With a combination of away and home games, the Dodgers are playing 20 consecutive games without a day off before the All-Star break.

It started with the Dodgers going to Oakland for three game where they got swept.

Then they headed to Anaheim where they lost two out of three.

After Sunday’s game they took a bus to Ontario to hop on the flight to San Francisco to play three there.

After the three in San Francisco they come home to play a four game series with the Mets starting Thursday.

Come Monday the Reds come to Dodger Stadium to play three. The Fourth of July game on Wednesday starts at 6:10.

After the Fireworks game, is off to the airport to start a four game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

WOW! a tough test ahead for Mattingly and the Dodgers. If they can turn it aorund and do well they can do this:

By then, Matt Kemp should be ready to come back and we can see him doing this:

OMG that is a long time, love it for me. But wish them luck and may God bless them in this long streak of games. Hope they can beat the Gnats. It is a MUST WIN….LET’S GO DODGERS!. Emma I will be there Thursday & Sunday’s game.

I do hope that Eovaldi does get his first W. The poor guy does not get more than one run from the Dodgers. Wish it was him pitching when Billingsley could not hold the lead with 5 runs.
I’ll miss you on Thursday as I leave to Minnesota tomorrow but I fly back on Sunday so I am planning on being at the game. Sunday is Hello Kitty bobblehead. My brother will collect my BBH on Thursday. It is my birthday on Thursday. Hope to see you on Sunday. Let me know where you sit. Try to come early to go to BP so the kids can go to the Kid’s corral.

Well Happy Birthday, now for more reason the Dodgers must win…LOL! Sunday I will be seating in field level, NEAR ETHIER! (suspiro profundo) NO KIDS for this game, it is a DODGER DATE GAME…LOL hope to see you Sunday!

I had not read it. LOVE IT! He is such an awsome person, thanks for sharing the link! I’m hoping that on Sunday I get to meet Andre and others. I have seats down low so I will make my way to be near the Dodgers Dug out prior to the game.

  5. This is a very simple game...

And in that same time frame the Angels got Thursday off and then the following Monday, which also makes no sense. The global MLB schedule is just chronically messed up. Last season the Angels were in the boat the Dodgers are in this season. It doesn’t seem like it should be so difficult to even out the time off between the teams, at least better than it is.

I think the Dodgers left through Ontario to go to SF but their bats must gone through LAX and have some lay overs cause I have not seen them….Kershaw was awesome!

I think it’s underplayed the effect of no rest on these players. Right now, I’m taking a well-deserved day off after just *going* to 10 games in 12 days. I can’t imagine having to put forth effort necessary to be at the top of your game for 20 days straight. That’s not even mentioning all the travel and trying to have fun these players also do.

P.S. Said games are why I haven’t commented here in a while. Sorry.

I an back in LA! A little tired but ready to watch Kwrshaw get the W.
Let’s. See if they can win today Jeff.
Kristen, I took a little nap in my car at Union Station si ready for the game.
Just parked here at Dodger Stadium.
When I get back in the swing if things I will visit your blog.

Well, I just finished scoring three I.E. home games vs. Rancho Cucamonga and Kemp was 4-11 (.364), 2b, 4 RBI, Int BB, 3 K. The word is he might get called up to Albuquerque for Saturday. I.E. had crowds of 8,329, 2,601, and 4,661 for the three games.
