ESPN showing some love to the Dodgers

The first Dodger game in the US has been changed from Monday March 31, to Sunday March 30.   I am so glad that my hotel reservations start on Sunday.   Details of the changes from Jon Weisman here

I like that ESPN is showing some love for the Dodgers.  The only thing is we won’t have Vin Scully on the call but since I have the best of both worlds listening to the best Dodger Broadcaster in English, Vin Scully and the best in Spanish with el maestro Jaime Jarrin and the loquacious Pepe Yniguez.  Fernando Valenzuela does some analysis.

No, I am not going to Sydney but I will be listening starting at 1. a.m. on Saturday March 22 and at 7:p.m.  Sounds weird saying that.

Lorena and I in San Diego for Opening Day with the Dodgers.  San Diego is always fun and we get to see our good friend, the big Padre fan, Mike.

I’m surprised – you’re NOT going to Sydney?! I can understand why if the cost is too much, or unable to take time off from work. I was hoping you’d go so you’d write some neat blogging from “the land down under.”

ESPN showing “love” to your team can be a double-edged sword. Sure they bring coast-to-coast fans aboard for the games, but they also take their digs and slight hand snarky comments towards the teams featured. I guess that is what comes with wanting to be sent country-wide anymore, you have to take the good with the bad and hope everything comes up roses.
Awesome to see you glide up the Top 100. Hope all is well and still sorry I had to cancel my LA trip last season. If I do schedule another, I’ll let you know….Got to meet my favorite Dodger besides Don Zimmer..

Sadly no 🙂 but I know Jon SooHoo will take some awesome pictures. How are you doing? Hope to see you maybe at the Baseball Reliquary event in Arcadia.
Cliff!! My favorite Ray’s fan. I know ha? with the Dodgers taking Nomah and Orel away from ESPN, I don’t know…
Congratulations on coming in at #2 in 2013! I got #18. I got to get back to posting more often. Please do let me know if you come my way! I’ll take you out to lunch or dinner. I LOVE Don Zimmer! Hope he is doing well. He is having a birthday soon!
