I recorded these videos back in the Summer when I went to the Dream Center. You can see the post I did back in August here http://crzblue.mlblogs.com/2013/09/10/dodgers-and-the-dream-center/
Looks like I had the camera upside down in the first video. haha.
Is that a pink underwear that you can see when Andre bents down? 🙂
Here is another video. This one is a little longer.
It took me a while to upload the second video.
Andre was in LA recently volunteering at the Union Rescue mission. From the Dodgers website:
This is the sixth consecutive year that Ethier has volunteered at the Union Rescue Mission. The Dodger outfielder has also served food to the homeless at the Weingart Center on skid row in Los Angeles and has been active in the local community since joining the club in 2006, having made annual visits to the Union Rescue Mission,
Saturday August 31, I went to the Dream Center in Los Angeles. The Dream Center is a Pentecostal Christian Church mission located at 2301 Bellevue Avenue in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
From the Dreamcenter.org website:
Founded in 1994, The Dream Center is a volunteer driven organization that finds and fills the needs of over 50,000 individuals and families each month.
We do this through mobile hunger relief and medical programs, residential rehabilitation programs for teens and adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, transitional housing for homeless families, foster care intervention programs, job skills training, life skills counseling, basic education, Bible studies and more. We work to meet people where they are at, to bring them hope and a way off the streets.
We’re also equipping others to serve. The Dream Center’s record of success has attracted urban missionaries and Christian leaders from across the U.S. and the world. As they volunteer with us, they gain insight and skills that they can take back to their own communities.
In this way, more than 100 independent Dream Centers have been launched nationally, as well as internationally. Many more churches and ministries have become more effective as we teach those who give their time and talent to do what we do. Many who once needed our services also go on to help others.

My friend Amanda who volunteers for the Dream Center has invited me several times, She started going back when Josh Lindblom was with the Dodgers. This time she told me that there was going to be a private kids baseball clinic conducted by some Dodgers. I went with my brother Victor and we stayed in the background taking some pictures.
Clayton Kershaw, Shumaker, Andre Ethier, Nick Punto & Mark Ellis. . On the left corner is Jonathan who Amanda introduced me to. Jonah has a lot of energy and it shows that he loves working for the Dream Center. Pastor Matthew Barnett is on the right side. Later on J.P. Howell joined the group.
